Hi I’m Sally Meakin, a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor
I chose to become a Driver Trainer because I will never forget how excited I felt the day I passed my driving test. It gave me the freedom to travel to new places, visit family and friends and made my life a whole lot easier! Whether you are learning to drive for the first time, getting back on the road after a break, or would simply like to develop your current skills, I offer a high quality training experience that produces confident and safe drivers for life.
As your instructor you can expect a tailored and supportive learning experience. I understand that everyone is unique and will have different needs and preferred learning styles. Making you feel comfortable so you can develop your driving skills and knowledge is my priority. There is nothing more rewarding for me than seeing the expressions on my learners faces when they achieve their goal, from day one right the way through to the end result! I’m always looking into more training and development for me and my business.
With so many different options I thought about what would enhance my teaching skills and offer even more to my student drivers in getting the most from driving and road safety. I did some training with the Energy Saving Trust which included fuel efficient driving and adopting driving techniques that maximise modern engines efficiency.
I have recently completed a BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching for Driver Development, which I can honestly say has changed my outlook even further on getting the best from myself and my student drivers.
